I am myself. Like most other selves, I don’t condense well into a few simple lines of text. Like a schoolbook, these words can only trace the shape of me, hint at the light and shadows within.
There is far more to me than you will see here, on this page.
There are words that apply to me, although they don’t define me: writer, mother, lover, adventurer, wife, reader, seeker, learner, mentor, partner, intuitive, delver, playful spirit, ambassador, advocate, talker, listener. strewer of joy into the lives of others, singer, sensualist, awakening, passionate, faithful, spontaneous, strong, daring, caring, sharing, wide-eyed wanderer.
I have lived my life widely and deeply. I have lived amongst alligators, bison, rain forests, and mountains. I have hugged an ancient tree and run through the forest wearing nothing but my wedding rings and my skin.
I have known tremendous joy and staggering loss. I have learned from both, and grown richer.
I’m still learning myself, in many roles – and who I am when all the roles fall away, and I am alone with myself….
I welcome you to share a part of my journey with me, and to post comments – and, in that way, we may come to learn more of each other, and we will both be enriched…..

Thanks for the pingback, Elizabeth! Still wanting to get together…maybe toward the end of July? =)
I love your site, especially the photo collages! I’ve nomiated you for the Kreativ Blogger Award and linked to your blog through my post at: http://4chicks.wordpress.com/2012/05/29/kreativ-blogger-award/. Loooking forward to more of your posts!
You have made my day. My week. I’m trying to do something different at the PFFG. The blog is really an experiment in serious writing and brazen sexuality. The fact that lots of women seem to like the blog means I’m doing something right. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much! The collages are lots of fun to do. I love photographing children who trust me enough to show their true selves to me, and i love photographing the beauty of nature. Turning the photos into collages lets me share more, and it’s little like scrapbooking, but without the need for lots of space…
Thank you for the award! =)
Cool blog! I nominated you for the Liebster Award.

Literary Tiger (I love that name!) –
Thank you so much for the award – it’s a new one for me, and this is definitely a small blog – not my intent to grow huge, but to share my truth and musings and fantasies and life…
I have a lot happening, just now, but I will be claiming the award at some point – hopefully this month! =)
Again, thank you!
Oh do I know what you mean about having a lot going on.
Best wishes on everything and keep on blogging.
Tiger –
I am choosing to see this busyness as growth…sometimes, for quite a while, it seems as though I will never NOT have a lot going on. I keep doing a little of this and a dab of that, and, after some time, there’s less…
I keep forgetting, though, that the kids and I are going camping in a week – time to think about packing!
Great.
Shanjeniah, I would like for you to submit an article on blogging/being a blgger to the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette. The Gazette is now a paying market, not much but something. If you are interested, go to The Gazette and click on the Anything Goes (Non-Fiction) tab at the top of the page for details.
Guy-
Guy –
I am honored. I went to peek around your place, and will be back in a week or so, as I am in the midst of writing my Blogging From A to Z April Challenge posts, at the moment.
Thank you for taking the time to read and comment here. I had intended to investigate your Gazette, and you brought it to me!
Slowly hoping to bring this blog into something I can really enjoy creating and sharing…..small steps, little scrambles, and a playful spririt…..
